Life Coaching FAQs

What is Life Coaching?

Life coaching is a process by which we work together to identify and clarify your goals, create a plan for success and then give you needed support as you go through the exciting process of change.

Who needs a Life Coach?

This list would include anyone who has tried to reach a personal goal and failed, is looking to change careers, start a full or part-time business, is going through a major life change such as the birth of a baby, working from home, surviving the death of a loved one, going through a divorce, becoming a working or stay at home parent, becoming an empty nester or transitioning to retirement.  All stages of life present challenges and opportunities.  A great life coach can teach you how to live your best life.

How much does it cost?

We charge a competitive hourly rate and depending on your budget will “meet” for 6-12 hours in total for each goal you would like to achieve.  Coaching sessions are paid for in advance and take place in person or by phone, Skype or facetime.

How long is a coaching session?

Sessions are one hour in length.

Will I get locked into paying for future sessions?

No.  You can cancel at any time providing you do so 48 hours before your next scheduled coaching session.

What do I have to do if I hire a Life Coach?

You and your coach will develop a custom step by step plan to achieve your desired outcome.  Together we formulate and establish a realistic set of deliverables and a timeline will be attached to these actions to move you methodically and successfully toward your goal.  It sounds a little daunting but we simplify the process of change for you and teach you how to embrace this time of transition.

Do you do Business Coaching?

YES!  More than half of our clients are business coaching clients who want to switch careers, become more successful in their existing careers or start a new business on the side.

Do I have to visit with my coach in person?

No, but it is beneficial, if possible, to meet in person for the first session and then by conference call, Skype or facetime for subsequent calls.

Has my Life Coach ever received coaching?

Yes, it is part of our training that we go through the process ourselves.   You may have heard that “The best coaches have their own coaches.”  We know and understand what it will be like for YOU to go through this exciting process, having experienced it ourselves.
