Samples of Our Interior Redesign Projects Before After The fireplace at the end of this long and lovely living room needed to be transformed into an outstanding focal point. We balanced the look by flanking the mantle with antique wall art for a distinctive and elegant look. It was tempting to overpopulate the mantle with the many collectibles in this home, but we wanted to create a perfectly sophisticated look. The objects we selected were chosen for size, shape and color and their ability to interact with each other in a visually appealing way. Before After This dining room was mostly used as a homework station for the children, but we had to ready it for the holidays. We moved the computer to a more appropriate space, switched the sideboard and china cabinet with one another, re-hung some artwork and added some greenery. What a change! Before After This 1992 kitchen looked dated and uninviting. We tore out its contents, except for the refrigerator and floor, and installed cherry cabinets, crown molding and a beautiful granite countertop. We used glass-front cabinets with back-lighting to mimic the effect of a window. Look at the transformation! Before After This farmhouse living room need a bit of excitement. The owners’ inventory of decorative objects was a bit limited, but we found just enough to create a beautiful but simple table scape that added warmth to the room. Before After This lovely oval coffee table was right for the room, but seemed to “float” on the floor. We anchored it with an existing decorative rug and this brought it together with the sofa as a grouping. We also created an inviting table scape design. Before After The owner of this bi-level home had acquired beautiful things from her travels throughout Asia and Africa. We thought the corner was a bit congested and knew we could simplify things there while using its contents elsewhere to show them off to their best advantage. By simplifying the corner space, we created a visual expansion of the room.
Before After This table and its contents were located in the foyer of this bi-level home. We had to create an intriguing ensemble that would invite visitors into the rest of the home, but didn’t take up too much space. By rebalancing the artwork and re-accessorizing the table, we achieved that look. We also added two ottomans from the living room to offer portable seating and to visually support a beautiful painting. Before After This living room was divided into two seating areas and the middle seemed empty. We brought together the seating to create one big space which would also allow the family to move about the room and appreciate the architecture and the outstanding furnishings and collectibles. Balance, color and harmony made this room a winner. Before After The walkout basement room of this home was meant to be a teenage gathering space. It was very nice, but the walls were bare. We took limited edition animation art purchased on the family’s many trips to Disney and Disneyland and hung them in an “L” shaped configuration. The result was a fun, colorful, exciting and nostalgic reminder of the family’s many happy vacations together. Before After We re-situated the sofa and love seat to make the most of the beautiful view outside the wall of glass. Because of the vaulted ceiling, the fireplace mantle called for a more vertical piece of artwork, and then we set about re-balancing the distribution of furniture, allowing for ample walking space. Before After This lovely entry had potential to become more balanced and inviting. We decided to use a different table, picture and plant to bring things into scale and “conversationalize” the furnishings. That allowed visitors to walk in, see a beautifully decorated foyer and living room and then appreciate the beautiful mountainside seen through the opposite wall of glass. Before After We love the holidays. Call us to decorate your home using what you already have or ask us to design a new look! It was time to update the holiday decorations on the outside of this beautiful center hall colonial. Look at the difference we made! Before After The decorations around the entrance of this beautiful home were lovely but a bit out of scale with the size of the home. By using the existing garland and adding another new strand over it and adding lovely ribbons and color, it really came alive. We flanked the entry with playful but elegant urns filled with greens and a sparkly ornament. Before After Nothing looks more beautiful than a mantle decorated for the holidays. We added some color and lights and created a focal point for the room. Before After We decorate the entire room, including the lighting fixtures. Before After We custom design decorations to accommodate your existing wreaths and create custom pendant decorations for your banisters, giving you a one-of-a-kind beautiful look. Before After Even a small living room can be masterfully decorated for the holidays. Feel the warmth in the room in the "after" photo. Before After We create a look that harmonizes with the rest of your home and the rest of your holiday decorations. The mantle design was pieced together by hand. Before After A simple brass chandelier serves as a backdrop for a lovely holiday design.
