Did You Know?
Most people today will have 2 to 4 careers in their lifetime. Transitioning from one to another and even figuring out what the next one should be can be overwhelming and very stressful.
Finding balance in your life and accomplishing everything you want sounds complicated, but most things are surprisingly uncomplicated if you’re working with the right person. A life coach or productivity coach can help you identify and clarify your goals and then guide you on how to prioritize and use your time effectively in order to accomplish them. Whether you’re a stay-at-home parent, entrepreneur, business executive, part-time employee or a full-time volunteer, I can help you live a happier and more fulfilling lifestyle. I accomplish this by working with you to develop an action plan to bring about the change you want, and then support you throughout the process.
Today’s lifestyle can be challenging because we have a limited amount of time to get through a multitude of tasks. Between work and family responsibilities, we oftentimes give up on trying to live the life we want. Our fast-moving culture demands that we multitask and use technology that is constantly evolving. While these things can be rewarding and exciting, they can also become burdens, especially when life changes occur. These changes can be a welcomed event like the birth of a child that seems to turn a family’s life wonderfully but chaotically upside down. Sadly, sometimes these changes come about as a result of loss of a loved one, divorce, or loss of employment, and people are forced to adapt to these changes while juggling the rest of their lives. Another challenge could be a recent medical diagnosis or a behavioral health challenge like ADHD, OCD, Bi-Polar Disorder, Anxiety or Depression, and even with medication and therapy, life can be challenging.
It’s time to stop feeling frustrated and guilty and denying yourself the happiness you know you deserve. It’s time to stop wasting your precious energy on things that are simply not working. The first step in the process is discussing your situation with me in a completely confidential and supportive setting and determining what your responsibilities and goals are. Then I analyze how you’re using your time and space and whether you’re reaching out for the support you need in all the areas of your life. We discuss your dreams and how you want to feel about yourself and how you want to present yourself to the world. You will decide in which direction you want to go. You will always be reminded that you are a very special and important person. You’ll also be encouraged to take very good care of yourself and make yourself a priority, even as you care for others. I do not provide psychotherapy or give medical advice, but I encourage you to seek out these professional services if needed.
We all know that in order to change the circumstances around us, we have to change ourselves. Doing this is a very exciting and empowering process that energizes and inspires us to even greater challenges. It’s not uncommon for many of my clients to quickly achieve their goals and then move on to even bigger ones they never even initially considered. Their success stories inspire me every day and are a constant source of gratitude in my life and career. I look forward to celebrating your successes with YOU!
